Purpose/Mission
Mission: The Student Organization Resource Fee is used to help fund programs and/or services of Registered Student Organizations.
Current Members
The SORF Board is comprised of ten (10) elected students (at least two of which are graduate/professional status) and three (3) appointed staff/faculty members. Students are elected by the student body and serve a one (1) year term. The Board Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, and Treasurer are elected from within the newly elected student board. Administrative support is provided by a Board Secretary, Advisor, and the Student Org Finance Center (SOFC).

Get Involved – SORF Board Elections
The SORF Board is comprised of eleven (11) elected students (at least two of which are graduate/professional status) and three (3) appointed staff/faculty members. Staff/faculty are appointed by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs or their designee.
The Board Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, and Treasurer are elected from within the newly elected student board, and the Board Secretary is hired by the Advisor in consultation with the Chairperson.
Student board members are elected by the student body and service a one (1) year term. Elections are administered by the Campus Student Election Commission (CSEC) during the annual Illinois Student Elections. Please visit studentelections.illinois.edu for more information on elections.
