I am a PhD student in NRES researching bird and insect ecology. My research focuses on prey selection of Eastern Whip-poor-wills, a nocturnal bird species that specializes on moths, and how this relationship affects the behavior and conservation of both predator and prey. I am also more broadly interested in long term conservation and restoration of natural landscapes. In my free time I enjoy exploring natural areas, birding, playing Dungeons and Dragons and ultimate frisbee, and spending time at home with my partner and our cats.
