Mia Seaton

Hometown: West Dundee, IL

Hi! My name is Mia Seaton, and I am a senior studying Psychology and Environmental Science. I plan to pursue academia in Environmental Health and study the cross section between people and the environment. I am particularly interested in water security and dependable access for all communities. I have spent time researching Nature-based Solutions to hydrologic issues along with researching environmental attitudes and behaviors. I am from a suburb of Illinois, but after studying abroad in Vienna, I found a love for traveling and exploring new cultures. Along with traveling, I grew up playing sports and spending a lot of time outdoors with family and friends. I love being an intern for SSC and hearing all the insights that come with being a part of such a great team!
