Hometown: Lake Forest, IL

I am a junior majoring in Earth, Society, and Environmental Sustainability and minoring in Legal Studies. In addition to my position as Vice Chair External for the Student Sustainability Committee, I am also the Communications Chair for the Student Sustainability Leadership Council, an undergraduate researcher at a plant biotechnology lab, and the Social Media Chair for Illinois Urban Farmers. Ever since I was a little, I have always loved nature, my first word being "kkot" meaning flower in Korean. As I pursued higher education, my passion for the environment further developed into how we can use our voices, generational knowledge, and innovation to promote and uplift the many intersections of sustainability. Outside of school and extracurriculars I love to dance, practice yoga, go for long walks, tend to my extensive houseplant collection, and bake.
