SSC Board Members

The SSC voting board consists of 18 student Voting Members who evaluate sustainability allocation requests by Illinois students, faculty, and staff and make important funding decisions in addition to managing their SSC position-specific duties. Board members are expected to work between 4-6 hours per week on SSC-related activities. 

The 2026-2027 SSC Board application period opened on Monday, March 2, 2026 and closed on Monday, March 23, 2026. 

Should you have applied and be invited to participate in an interview, the interview will take place in person between Friday, April 3, 2026 and Saturday, April 11, 2026. All elected board members are expected to participate in SSC's retreat on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
