About
Maria just graduated from the U of I in May 2022. As a student member of the SSC, she served as the Student Outreach Lead for one semester and Vice Chair External for two semesters. Maria was also involved with the Institute for Sustainability, Energy, & Environment (iSEE), Students for Environmental Concerns (SECs), the Student Sustainability Leadership Council (SSLC), the Student Sustainable Farm (SSF), and much more. Facilitated by AmeriCorps, Maria is currently serving as the Sustainability Lead for a nonprofit organization in Nashville, TN. She hopes to attend law school after her AmeriCorps service term is complete.
