Illinois Student Government | LAS Senator, Chairperson of the Committee on Environmental Sustainability

Alexandra seeks opportunities in Illinois Student Government (ISG) to better understand and confront issues plaguing the student body while simultaneously engaging in productive conversations with equally passionate individuals. In ISG, she initially served on the Internal Affairs Committee but then joined the Executive Branch as an Executive Assistant to President Perezchica.

She wishes to give back to the community by assisting with efforts to ensure all students feel represented and comfortable, especially marginalized groups whose voices are often silenced. Outside of ISG and SSC, she is involved in the Daily Illini as a news reporter, Volunteer Illini Projects as a Community Justice Project Director, and Odyssey Online as a writer. All of these organizations have fueled her passion for giving back to the community and understanding what issues exist.
