Tessa Clarizio
Floating Working Chair

Tessa Clarizio is a third-year Ph.D. student in Civil & Environmental Engineering (Energy-Water-Environment-Sustainability track) in Dr. Hannah Horowitz's group, and her research focuses on air quality and climate modeling. Before starting graduate school, she worked for two years in environmental consulting in Ireland. She is excited about her role as SSC Floating Working Chair, and helping UIUC advance sustainability initiatives. She is also in the leadership of the Graduate Society of Women Engineers and the American Association for Aerosol Research Student Chapter. In her spare time, she loves to travel, try new coffee shops, and play with her two cats.
