Verifications

The Department of Student Engagement is able to provide academic verifications (e.g. GPA, term hours, cumulative hours, enrollment status, major, etc.) to Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) whose national organization (or governing body) requires the verification for eligibility to participate in related activities.

Below please find contact information regarding the appropriate contact for such requests. PLEASE NOTE: An organization must be in compliance at the time of the Registrar's inquiry to receive a verification.

To obtain a verification of your organization's registration and standing, please have the President of the organization contact getinvolved@illinois.edu. Your organization must be registered and in compliance for the verification request to be processed.

To request an Absence Verification, please contact getinvolved@illinois.edu. 

Absence Verification letters don’t guarantee the absence will be excused but will verify that the absence is related to a student org activity.
