About Me

Rhonda joined Student Engagement in August of 2021 as the Program Manager of the Student Org Finance Center (Administrative Aide). In this role, she provides director oversight of the new Student Org Finance Center or SOFC. She also coordinates human resources for the Department of Student Engagement.

She has been on the University of Illinois campus since 1993 where she started working in the Facility Management and Scheduling (FMS) office. At FMS, she coordinated and approved classroom and event space. Rhonda then spent several years working in the Intensive English Institute where international students came to improve their English skills. For the past five years, she has worked within the Student Affairs units of the Office for Minority Student Affairs (OMSA) and the Office of the Dean of Students (ODOS).

Born and raised right here in central Illinois, Rhonda calls Mahomet home. Rhonda and her husband Bill have two sons – Trevor and Mason and three dogs – Ranger, Moose, and Oscar. In her spare time, she enjoys watching tv, reading, and relaxing with the dogs.
